The AirPods Max 2 wireless headphones just came out in April but they’re already discounted for Prime Day.

In our original review of the AirPods Max 2 headphones, we noted the improved Active Noise Cancellation technology, along with the enhanced spatial audio and the new intelligent features powered by Apple’s H2 chipset. Amazon shoppers, meantime, praise the “expensive” and “classy” look of the headphones, and the comfortable memory foam ear cushions. I personally also appreciate the knit-mesh headband, which stays put without being too tight or suffocating.

Customize your listening experience by choosing between active noise cancellation mode or transparency mode, which allows you to hear what’s around you (say, if you need to pay attention in traffic or be on alert in case your boss calls out your name). The updated headphones also use USB-C charging instead of the traditional Apple lightning cable connection.

What Are the Best Apple AirPods Max Prime Day Deals?

Apple is de-prioritizing its original AirPods Max headphones, and most of those pairs are sold out or unavailable on Amazon. The best AirPods Max deal for Prime Day is on the all-new second-generation model, which is marked down by $150 off.

Apple has always been a dominating force not only in the smartphone industry, but Bluetooth earbuds and over-ear headphones as well. In the U.S. market, the tech brand has become the most used brand, with 34.4% of people between the ages of 18 and 64 years choosing Apple, followed by 15.3% choosing Beats (another Apple-owned brand), according to a 2021 global survey conducted by Statista.

Reviewers are reaffirming how “unmatched” the sound quality of Apple’s Airpod Max headphones are compared to any other model. And now, with a plethora of chic colors to choose from, fans have more flexibility in picking the perfect AirPods Max to match their personality. If smaller earbuds are more your speed, Apple’s coveted AirPods are also on sale for Prime Day, starting from just $99 on Amazon.com.
