To get started, you’ll need Target Room Essentials 3-Shelf Bookcase and a tool set, if you don’t already have a drill and hammer. The bookshelf retails for $25, but you may need to get at least four bookshelves, depending on what size you want the close to be. Once assembled, each bookshelf weighs 28 pounds and measures 35.98 inches x 24.49 inches and 9.45-inches in depth.

Target’s Room Essentials 3-Shelf Bookshelf is available in black, white and espresso brown, and features removable shelves that you’ll use to hang your clothing (or keep the shelves in one of the bookshelves to store shoes, folded shirts and more. If you want to mix up the design, try incorporating a Target Room Essentials 5-Shelf Bookcase, or a 7-tier chest drawer for jewelry and other keepsakes. And don’t forget your hangers and closet rods.
