Billed as an “ultimate fan edition,” the new release has an updated shiny cover with shimmery gold binding.

The new release also includes 22 new pages of movie-themed quizzes, puzzles and activities, along with a sticker sheet featuring all the memorable characters from the film. Released Aug. 18, there are 48 total pages in this picture book reissue. This is an official release from Netflix and children’s publisher, Golden Books.

The “ultimate fan edition” follows the original illustrated book, which hit shelves Dec. 30 last year. It’s currently on sale for just $5.

Just like the movie, this book centers around the talented demon-slaying girl group HUNTR/X, with members Rumi, Mira and Zoey.

As you read, you’ll also meet the Saja Boys, the hottest demon boy band, along with beloved animal characters like Derpy Tiger and Sussie. The book deep-dives into the story of each lovable character, while showcasing everything from their sold-out shows before adoring fans, to fighting demons post-ramyun and kimbap session.

The book is adapted by Angela Song from the Oscar-winning film’s screenplay, co-written and directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. The easy-to-read text is accompanied by full-color illustrations, done in a stylized chibi fashion.

Fans can also pick up this children’s book release, which features the complete lyrics to “Golden,” the Grammy and Academy Award-winning anthem from the film.

The lyrics are accompanied by all-new illustrations depicting HUNTR/X on stage, as well as memorable scenes from the film.

“Golden” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks and the song earned four Grammy nominations in 2026, including major categories like Song of the Year. It took home one win, for “Best Song Written for Visual Media.”

The KPop Demon Hunters Little Golden Book Biographies are part of the popular children’s book series, which also includes school age-appropriate biographies on stars like Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Harry Styles and Beyonce.
