What are the Key Features of T-Mobile’s Family Freedom program?
- Financial Incentives: T-Mobile offers up to $800 per line for up to four lines, totaling a maximum of $3,200, to cover outstanding device payments when switching from another carrier.
- Expanded Eligibility: One major addition is that Verizon users can finally take advantage of this switch program.
- Promotion Inclusion: This program is able to stake with other ongoing promotions for new devices. For instance, customers can shop for new smartphones at no additional cost through bill credits over a 24-month period
- Compatibility: Family Freedom is available across all T-Mobile rates. However, certain device promotions may require subscription to higher-tier plans such as Go5G Next.
How Do You Enroll into T-Mobile’s Family Freedom program?
Want to sign up for Family Freedom? Customers can simply upload their most recent bill to T-Mobile’s promotions site. This document is used to verify the buyout amounts of traded devices to get you a prepaid Visa card equivalent to the eligible value.
T-Mobile’s Family Freedom does a great job focusing on households with up to four lines, compared to AT&T’s Switch and Save program, which offers up to $8,000 for 10 lines, providing a competitive alternative for smaller families or groups.
