Created by Blake Shelton and Taylor Sheridan, the season will premiere on CBS on October 19. Throughout the season, each singer will join a headliner on tour and perform as their opening act in venues across the country, attempting to win over local fanbases to secure a spot in the next city and remain on the tour. If they don’t bring their best performance, they will be sent home.
